Resident Doctor Awards

We held our 2026 Resident Doctor Awards ceremony on 24 June in the Education Centre Lecture Theatre to recognise the huge contribution of our resident and locally employed doctors.

This was the second time these awards have been held at Dorset County Hospital, organised by the local British Medical Association (BMA) team in conjunction with our education and medical staffing teams.

It was a wonderful occasion, with the nomination citations a reminder of the enormous difference our resident and locally employed doctors make to patients and colleagues.
