Children’s Services (Paediatrics)
Welcome to the Children’s Services at Dorset County Hospital. The teams provide patient and family-centre services, meeting the health care needs of children, young people and their families both in hospital and out in the community. Our aim is to provide high-quality, safe and compassionate care, delivered in partnership with families and partners across Dorset.
Below you will find more information about the services we offer for children and young people.
Parking
Car parking concessions are available for parents/carers visiting children on the ward. Please ask a member of staff for a form. This will reduce the cost of parking per day. One form is available per family. More information is available on our parking webpage.
Feedback
We really appreciate receiving feedback from patients and their families to enable us to see how we are performing and look at how we can improve. If you would like to feedback about your hospital experience, please email patientexperience@dchft.nhs.uk Alternatively, we have a Paediatric Community and Outpatients Department Questionnaire.
Our HIVE (Health and Wellbeing, Information, Volunteering and Engagement) hub is located in South Wing, Level 1 and offers a welcoming space for patients and families to provide feedback about their experience, raise any concerns, and be signposted to various support services available in Dorset.
