Moreton Ward

Moreton Ward cares for patients with respiratory disorders and general medical patients.​

It is located in South Wing Level 2.

Ward rounds take place throughout the morning, so we ask relatives to reserve any calls to after 11am when more up-to-date information may be available on the patient's care.

Visiting guidance

Visiting times are 11am to 8pm, seven days a week. Read more about our visiting guidance here.

We set aside time on the ward for meal times to create a quiet, relaxed atmosphere for patients. We have a protected mealtime policy between 12pm and 1.30pm and ask that visiting is kept to a minimum during this time.

It is also appreciated if only one member of your family telephones the ward and acts as a co-ordinator passing information to other relatives and friends.

We kindly ask that children under the age of five do not visit. If would like to bring a child over the age of five, please check with the nurse in charge before you visit.
