Josie Weaver is our Metastatic Breast Nurse Specialist and Tess Bendell is our Breast Cancer Support Worker. We also have Bank Breast Nurse Lorraine Sers and Administrative Support Sam Crampton. As a nursing team we provide information and guidance for women and men who are diagnosed with breast disease. Our main role as Breast Nurse Specialists focuses on patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. We see patients referred to us from the Dorset Breast Screening Service and through direct GP referrals.

We offer professional expert advice and information, as well as emotional and psychological support for patients and their families and carers. We ensure that they have a good understanding of their individualised treatment plans, and we are the main key point of contact for advice and reassurance. We also sign-post to additional services locally and nationally for extra support.

We also offer a prothesis clinics (alternate Tuesdays) with experienced fitters from various companies.

Our working hours are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
