Having initially undertaken surgical training in Nottingham and specialising in urology, I transferred to radiology training in 2005. I studied diagnostic radiology at UCLH where I subsequently undertook my Interventional Radiology fellowship.
I was appointed to Dorset County Hospital in 2011.
Special interests
Interventional Radiology – DCH offers a wide range of IR, including vascular, hepatobiliary, urological and renal access work; whilst supporting all the acute services with emergency IR procedures.
I help organise a yearly IR training course for junior doctors.
I am lead radiologist for Urology. I trained at the premier hospital with regards prostate imaging, and have redesigned the prostate cancer diagnostic pathway; I sit on local and regional groups detailed with its delivery.
