Background
I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2004 and undertook surgical training in Leicester, Nottingham and Glasgow. I then undertook research into stomach cancer at the University of Toronto and was awarded a PhD by the University of Nottingham for his work on nutrition and muscle wasting.

Gallbladder surgery; bile duct surgery; ERCP; acute and chronic pancreatitis.

Background
I have been a Consultant General and Upper Gastro-intestinal Surgeon at the Dorset County Hospital since 2006. I am an experienced general surgeon, with special interests in Upper gastro-intestinal and laparoscopic surgery.
I completed my higher surgical training in the Wessex Deanery in the UK, in addition to obtaining surgical training at the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in India. I was the Clinical Director for Surgery and Urology at the Dorset County Hospital and also served as the Surgical Tutor of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, for specialist surgical trainees in the Wessex Deanery.
I was the Lead Upper GI Cancer Clinician in West Dorset. I am actively involved in training medical students and surgical trainees and dedicated to research and has published many papers in various journals and e-textbooks.

Gallstones and gallbladder disease.
Pancreatitis.
Acid reflux.
Cancer of gullet, stomach, pancreas and liver.
New treatments introduced
Intra-operative ultrasound scan during gallbladder surgery.
