In 2008, I returned to a clinical role as a Colorectal Cancer Nurse Specialist, building on my surgical experience of caring for patients with bowel cancer.  I commenced my MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice focusing on colorectal cancer and other gastrointestinal diseases. This role developed to include the assessment and investigation of patients with undiagnosed conditions and Lead nurse for the colorectal nursing service.
