Essential roadworks at hospital site entrance on Williams Avenue

Please be aware that from Monday (16 May) we will be carrying out some essential works at the entrance to our hospital site from Williams Avenue.

This is connected to the construction of our multi-storey car park. We will be putting in a new island ready for the automatic number plate recognition barriers.

You’ll still be able to enter and exit the site in the same way while the work is carried out, but there will be two lanes in operation (one in and one out) instead of the usual four. There will be signs in place and the contractors hope to keep any disruption to a minimum. The work will take place over a three-week period.
