Rheumatology

Rheumatology is the medical specialty that includes mechanical and inflammatory joint conditions, back pain and connective tissue disorders.

As of 1 June 2024 Rheumatology is provided by a single pan Dorset service called the Dorset Rheumatology Service and University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) is the sole provider. UHD has taken on the clinics provided by Dorset County Hospital, which means the clinics in the west continue to run as normal.
