Background
Originally from Greece, I graduated from Medical School at University of Patras Greece and completed training in Otolaryngology in Athens.
I spent three years in ENT department of the University Hospital in Zurich in Switzerland working as a clinical fellow in Otology with Professor Alex Huber.
In November 2011, I was appointed as a Senior Clinical Fellow in St. Mary’s Hospital in London, working with Professor Anthony Narula.
I sub-specialized further by doing the Otology and Hearing Implants Fellowship in Cambridge working with Mr Axon.
Along with the clinical training I have a special interest in basic science research in middle ear surgery and laryngeal cancer and completed my PhD degree in 2013.
In November 2013 I was appointed as an ENT Consultant in Dorset County Hospital.

Background
I qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1980 and then worked as an anatomy lecturer at Guy’s for a year.
I was in the Royal Army Medical Corps for 11 years – a year as a medical officer in Germany, and the rest in ENT.
I trained in St Thomas’ for two years and then Norwich and Great Ormond Street for a year each.
I retired in 2016 and now work in outpatients with clinics four days a week.

I qualified from Nottingham University in 2002 and completed Basic Surgical Training in the Oxford Deanery.
After completing ENT training in East of England Deanery (2015) I was selected for the Otology Fellowship at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where I refined a wide range of skills in complex Otology and implantation. After taking a post as a locum ENT consultant in Cambridge I was awarded the prestigious Graham Fraser Fellowship in Sydney, Australia. During this post I developed further expertise in Cochlear Implantation, Bone Anchored Hearing Aids and advanced Otology, including endoscopic techniques.
I returned to the UK as a consultant in Dorset in 2016.
I have published numerous academic papers and contributed chapters to major ENT texts. I completed a higher degree (Doctor Of Medicine) in 2016 which focused on pitch perception in Cochlear Implantation.
Special interests
I undertake all aspects of ENT surgery but have a special interest in Otology. Aside from my surgical work I have particular focus on hearing loss, tinnitus and balance disorders.
I am a Learning Disability Champion for the ENT Department.

Background
My basic surgical training was undertaken in Oxford, followed by a period of research into pathogenic mechanisms in meningitis at the Institute of Molecular Medicine. I was accepted onto the southwest ENT rotation in 2000 and have worked in a number of hospitals throughout the region including Bristol Children’s hospital.
I was awarded the TWJ fellowship in otology and neurotology with Professor Fagan in Sydney for 2007 and subsequently spent one year in Bristol as a locum consultant prior to my appointment at Dorset County in 2008.

I cover all aspects of ENT surgery and undertake the parotid, submandibular and thyroid surgery in the hospital

Background
I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009 and completed my foundation training within North West Thames, London. Following this, I served as an Anatomy Demonstrator at the University of Brighton. I then volunteered in a rural hospital in Uganda, working with the surgical team.
My specialist training in ENT was completed primarily in Edinburgh. In my final year, I was awarded the BRS Advanced Rhinology Training Fellowship, gaining valuable training from a renowned faculty to advance my subspecialty expertise.
Since completing my training, I have held a substantive consultant position at Dorset County Hospital since 2022.
Special interests
I cover all aspects of general ENT and specialise in sinus surgery and functional septorhinoplasty alongside thyroid surgery.
